Born & raised in the Southeast corner of Texas (Orange), explains my love of all things Texas with a little Cajun flair mixed in. Arriving in the Big Country in the fall of 89, I attended Abilene Christian University and graduated in the spring of 94 with a double major in marketing and business management. While in college, I had the privilege of being a member of the ACU golf team (93 National Champions) as well as enjoying membership and Sub T-16 and Hamby Church of Christ under the leadership of the late Willard Tate. Graduate work is tentatively scheduled for fall 2026 at Louisiana State University.
Upon graduation, I went to work at Shady Oaks Golf Club as an assistant in the fall of 94. I was given the opportunity to serve as director of golf in 95 under the management of Gerry McDowell and a host of great board members until my departure in 05 after 11 great years.
My real estate career began in 96 with the purchase of my first home. Over the next many years, I would buy more in my surrounding area as well as partner in a housing development in the summer of 99. Partnering in the home building, remodeling, investment homes and selling, I became full-time in the real estate industry, acquiring my real estate license in 05 and serving in that capacity to present period. It is my passion to help people find great homes and build the foundation of their family and financial platform.
In the summer of 2002, God introduced me to Tamara and we married 12 months later. Tamara serves as the VP of Enrollment Management at Abilene Christian University while being the rock of our family. We have been blessed with three children, Kaden J, Kinley K, and Cameron D. We enjoy church, our community of friends, travel, sports, and endless kid activities.
